Inside the matching engine
GeniusCircle team —
How we rank experts on skills, semantic similarity, reputation, reliability and availability — and why we always show the reasons.
Matching combines five signals:
- Skill graph overlap between the brief and an expert's verified skills
- Semantic similarity between the problem and the expert's profile and past circles
- Reputation from outcomes and weighted peer feedback
- Reliability — delivering what was committed
- Availability and current workload
Conflicts of interest (for example an expert linked to a competing organization) are detected automatically and can also be flagged manually. Every proposal shows its reasons, and the problem owner always has the final say.
